We were able to award two $2,000 scholarships in our 15th year of supporting Mansfield high seniors. Congratulations to these Class of 2022 graduates for being so supportive of their special need peers.  We wish you good luck in your futures and have no doubt you will do great things.

The 15th annual Jamie Fund scholarships were awarded to the following Mansfield High School graduating seniors in 2020:

Ashlyn Woods:  Ashlyn will be attending Stonehill College and pursuing a degree in Special Education and Psychology.  She dedicated a lot of her free time to her special need peers.  She volunteered in Special Olympics and Best Buddies and interned in a special education class at Mansfield High School.  Her connection to special education is admirable and we wish her all the best in her studies

Sydney Ten Eyck:  Sydney will be attending Syracuse University and pursuing a degree in Communication disorders and Psychology.  Sydney is in several honor society’s and still had time to volunteer for Special Olympics and Best Buddies.  Sydney was certainly a role model to other high schoolers showing her acceptance of differences.

Each student received a $2,000 scholarship from the fund. Scholarships are given to graduating seniors who will be pursuing a degree in special education at an accredited four-year college or university and have demonstrated a commitment to special needs education and awareness.

Scholarships are typically awarded at the end of the school year. Applications are accepted through Mansfield High School. For more information, please contact The Jamie Fund.
